Learn. Recharge. Create.
As seasoned service designers, Kathryn and I believe that we learn best, not just by sharing information but by sharing experiences.
When we come together, immerse ourselves in a setting that inspires and engage with real challenges: learning sticks, creativity flows and ideas become action.
That’s why our two-day Design Thinking workshops in St Agnes, Cornwall are designed not just to teach tools and methods, but to create the conditions for genuine learning and collaboration to thrive.
Why Cornwall?
The setting matters. Cornwall has a way of slowing us down and opening us up. Maybe it’s the rhythm of the sea or having the time and space to pause for thought? It all helps. Our workshop isn’t just training in a room. It’s an immersive experience, with views of the coast, designed to help you think differently.
What you’ll gain
Over two days, you’ll move through the Design Thinking process; from understanding complex challenges to prototyping and testing real solutions. Along the way, you’ll learn how to:
- Rethink the way you approach problems.
- Generate fresh, practical ideas.
- Prototype and test solutions with confidence.
- Foster a culture of creativity and collaboration.
You’ll leave not just with new tools, but with renewed perspective, fresh energy and tangible ways to apply Design Thinking in your business, organisation or community.
The flow of the workshop
Day 1 – Discover
We begin by exploring what Design Thinking is and why it matters. Through research, insights and persona-building, you’ll learn how to understand complex problems in new ways. The day closes with time to reflect – whether through an open discussion, a walk along the coast or a shared meal at a local favourite.
Day 2 – Develop & Deliver
On day two, we move into visioning, ideation and prototyping – learning how to prioritise and test ideas quickly. After a mandatory beach walk (yes, it’s part of the process), we’ll work on how to take prototypes into the real world: validating, scaling and creating lasting impact. We finish with an open discussion and a clear path forward.
More than a workshop
This is learning designed as an experience – blending practice and reflection, place and people. By the end, you’ll have a deeper understanding of Design Thinking and, we hope, a renewed sense of what’s possible for your team or organisation.
Other ways to work together
If you can’t make it to Cornwall, Kathryn and I also offer:
